yesterday. >> what's in store? here's meteorologist mike massco. mike, it's nice to have you here in the morning. >> thank you. it's nice to be here. you know, guys, i think we'll see some snow, a little burst of snow coming in during the course of the morning. 32 at bwi right now. the atmosphere certainly moistening up a bit, northeasterly wind at just about 12. and notice temperatures across town, while we're at 35 in annapolis, down to the freezing mark in easton, it's really chilly over our northwestern suburbs. 30 in eldersburg, 29 in manchester. notice on maryland's most powerful radar, down to the south of d.c., it's starting to snow and this is what's going to be pushing toward the north during the course of the morning hours. so about an hour 50 minutes away from the baltimore metro area, and this will come in as a burst of some snow through the course of this morning. not expecting much in the way of accumulating snows, a dusting to about an inch just toward the west of 695. and then you go beyond that up towards carroll county, northern baltimore county, could be about

hit as a result of this storm. meteorologist mike masco said at 8:00 they got a burst of snow. they got are couple inches on the ground and it turned to sleet. we're seeing this messy wet rain that's getting rid of the beautiful snow. so all of this creating a mess on the roadways. we have not heard of major accidents in the baltimore area, just a lot have people trying to take this slow, be cautious no major wrecks, but you want to be care f they don't think there's danger of a refreeze. they've switched with the sleet, changing over to straightup rain creating a mess that's not pretty. luckily for now not looking too ba.d as wyatt and mike have been talking about, we'll keep our eye on saturday and another impending storm that could make travel even worse. for now, i'm joce sterman reporting. >> you can track the conditions anytime at abc2news.com or download our weather app. we are not the only ones getting hit with this. we have the latest on the storm's track. >> reporter: snowplows tried to fight back in indiana today with almost eight inches on the ground in indianapoli

a fiscal of deal, we want to look at other items this morning. this is from "the new york times." mike on the line for independents. your thoughts on that the senate negotiating the fiscal clift deal? caller: i would like to take a step back. this is a discussion on philosophies. i think the basic difference in philosophy between two parties. i think the solution really is to come up with an agreement that will make everybody equally unhappy and explain that this is for the benefit of all of our children. host: what would be an agreement that would make everybody unhappy? caller: if you told republicans there would be means testing and they are not going to get some of the benefits like medicare or social security because they have wealth in their lives, it would make them happy, but they could afford it. if you told democrats that we are going to cut some benefits to try to get the deficit under control -- if this other republicans are also taking cuts, maybe they would go along with the things. i think there are a lot of people in the system that the benefits that they do not need. h
